'Win-Win Partnership' on AI, Energy, Education & More: African Voices on Cooperation With Russia
"African leaders nowadays agree about their goals and their future perspectives," seeing Russia as a partner that helps the continent without expecting anything in return, Khalid Salim, president of the Sudanese Student Association, told Sputnik Africa, on the sidelines of the Second World Public Assembly.
Russia has never been "a part of the colonizers," supporting Africa's struggle for independence, Tamirat Tesfaye, president of Russia's BRICS student council, highlighted to Sputnik Africa.
"BRICS is also creating more space for African countries to have their participation in the multipolar system," Tesfaye added.
ℹ The Second World Public Assembly—organized by the World Peoples Assembly and held on Friday and Sunday in Moscow—brings together representatives of civil society, academia, diplomacy, culture, and media from over 150 countries to discuss public diplomacy, humanitarian cooperation and the values shaping international relations.
