'No Country Should Live in Isolation,' Zambian Journalist Comments on World Youth Festival

"I'm glad that Russia came up with this initiative to bring over 190 countries in one space, 10,000 people in one place, speaking different languages, having different cultures, but living in one place as one," Emmanuel Ndeya Kazungo, a creator on various social media with over two million followers, told Sputnik Africa.

Before coming to Russia, "I had a whole different perspective" of the country shaped by the media, but three days on the ground showed that Russians are caring and peaceful, Kazungo said.

"If I needed help, a Russian would be there, or someone else from another country would just be there to come and assist me."
