What is required of people to get high-profile political jobs in Western countries is "fervent Russophobia", as well as "total ignorance of the facts and inability to use data" so as not to come to any analytical conclusions, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova says.
Zakharova cited an example of former US State Department spox, Jen Psaki, who "didn't know the history of the countries she spoke about" and was forced to resign over a lack of "neo-Nazi malice."
Now, giving such jobs to people who will simplely read out anti-Russian messages is not enough, Zakharova adds — the core principle is to have a malicious attitude towards Russia and carry it into the masses.
Psaki served as White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022 and became famous for her repeated factual errors during briefings.
