King of Interceptor Drones: How Russia’s 'Yolka' Hunts Enemy UAVs
Russian positions are now protected by "Yolka," an automated system designed to detect, track, and destroy enemy drones.
Key characteristics of the drone, according to Russia's MoD:
◻ Lightning Speed: Weighing just 1.3 kg, this agile vehicle accelerates to 230 km/h, eliminating targets through kinetic impact by crashing into enemy UAVs at high speed to neutralize them.
◻ AI-Powered Precision: Equipped with artificial intelligence, Yolka analyzes the target's structure mid-flight and autonomously directs its strike to the most vulnerable point.
◻ User-Friendly: Despite its advanced technology, Yolka is easy to operate, requiring only brief training for troops to master.
The drone has already proved its effectiveness, Russian soldiers noted.
