Egypt's El Alamein Airshow 2026: Russia's Su-57E & Yak-130M Steal the Show
The El Alamein International Airshow has concluded in northern Egypt, with Russia securing a landmark contract and showcasing its latest aerospace technology.
Key Highlights:
First Yak-130M Export Deal: The first export contract for more than 10 Yak-130M trainer-combat aircraft, Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheev announced.
Su-57E in Flight Program: The export-oriented fighter jet participated in the flying display, demonstrating Russia's advanced aerospace capabilities to potential customers.
Russian Presence: Over 500 military exhibits and 35 Russian organizations took part.
Arms Deliveries: Supplies have been made to over 20 foreign customers this year, with more than 50% of the plan already fulfilled.
The exhibition ran from September 8 to 10, featuring 250 companies from 50 countries and 135 aircraft in total.
