At Least 24 Children Reported Dead in DRC School Fire: Media
The blaze broke out in the rebel-held city of Bukavu in the eastern part of the country, with the cause still unknown, according to media reports.
What is known so far:
🟠Adults are also reported dead, with the death toll feared to rise in the densely populated commune;
🟠Around 300 houses are destroyed;
🟠Survivors are taken to nearby hospitals.
