Niger’s National Guard Reinforced With More Than 1,300 Recruits ‘in the Face of Evolving Threats’ — Interior MinistryThe contingent consists of: 2 lateral-entry officers, 70 lateral-entry non-commissioned officers, 2 Customs officers, 1,243 National Guardsmen, including 63 women.The reinforcement came following the completion of the recruits’ training, the Interior Ministry said. Duration: eight months.
