69% of Kenyans Oppose US-Funded Ebola Center in Nanyuki: Poll 28% of respondents say that the project at Laikipia Air Base is aimed primarily at protecting US interests and treating foreign patients, while 17% link their opposition to concerns about corruption and opaque agreements, according to a TIFA Research poll cited by local media. The poll was conducted from June 13 to 22 among 2,048 Kenyans across nine regions, with a margin of error of 2.18%.
