Subscribe
If the continent's countries could work on space infrastructure with their own capabilities, they would reduce the effort required to reach space, Beza Tesfaye, member of the Ethiopian Space Science Society, told Sputnik Africa, commenting on Africa’s growing role in space science and technology and what the next ten years could mean for the continent.
"The shift is already starting, both in Ethiopia and many African countries. [They are] starting to send satellites now. Most of the countries are trying to build their own internal capacity to do the analytics part for themselves," she added.
