Ukrainian Forces Use Terrorist Tactics Previously Seen in Africa & Asia, Including Afghanistan: Russia' MFA

Foreign instructors with experience in African and Asian conflicts brought terrorist and "unscrupulous" warfare tactics to Ukrainian forces from the early days of the conflict, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large, told Sputnik.

According to his information, it was foreign instructors who shared the tactics of repeated strikes with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"A number of special forces instructors, the British being noted for their methodical approach, compile guidelines outlining practices and their effectiveness. Everything is described in detail and used to train new personnel who are used as saboteurs and terrorists to organize terrorist activities," the ambassador explained.

Miroshnik earlier said that the Ukrainian Forces were torturing Russian prisoners of war using methods from the Afghan and Iraqi campaigns, including drowning them in water and torturing them with electricity.

Ukrainian mercenaries have been spotted in Mali, Libya and Sudan, where they seek to undermine Russian and African state interests, Russian Deputy FM Georgy Borisenko earlier said, adding that their presence is expanding amid ongoing conflicts.
