Speaking at the scene of the blaze, the Burundian minister of finance, budget, and digital economy announced that investigations would soon be launched."We need to explore other avenues and try to identify the causes," said Alain Ndikumana.He also praised the swift and effective response of the security forces and the solidarity of the residents:"We also want to commend the merchants and residents here for how they handled the situation.
