Russia Considers Delivering Food & Medical Supplies to South Sudan: Ambassador
Providing humanitarian aid to African countries is part of Russia's consistent policy of strengthening food security on this continent, Russian Ambassador to South Sudan Aleksandr Kosmodemyansky told Sputnik.
In December 2025, Russian delivered thousands of tonnes of food products to Mozambique and South Sudan within the UN's World Food Program. The deliveries are covered by Russia's annual voluntary $10 million contribution intended for African nations.
