First Confederation Session of Parliaments of AES Opens in Niamey: Confederation Authorities
It will be held from August 24 to 29. The main work will begin on the 26th and will focus on the following issues:
▪ progressive harmonization of the laws and policies of the three countries;
▪ development of active parliamentary diplomacy with African parliaments and invited institutions;
▪ensuring that the concerns of the people are reflected in confederation decisions.
At the close, the parliamentarians of the three countries will adopt a roadmap, a timetable, and a follow-up mechanism.
