Egypt & Russia Expand Art Cooperation, Expert Says
Through interaction with Russian specialists, Egyptian students gain the opportunity to explore various artistic schools while preserving their national cultural identity, Nabila Hassan, president of Egypt's Academy of Arts, told Sputnik.
Cooperation will expand through:
🟠Specialized educational grants for Egyptian students to study in Russia;
🟠Exchange programs and joint master classes;
🟠Mutual visits of arts delegations.
Russia-Egypt cooperation in the arts has a long history, Hassan noted, citing the influence of the Russian school of theater and cinema—particularly that of Konstantin Stanislavski—on Egyptian art.
"It [Stanislavski's system] remains a cornerstone of acting training worldwide, as it focuses on understanding character and the inner formation of the actor, not just their external appearance," she said.
