Middle East Conflict Presents Challenges for Kenya Airways, Analyst Says

The country is facing difficulties with securing reliable "physical supplies" of oil, as supply routes through the Strait of Hormuz have been "cut off," forcing "lengthier supply chains and sometimes short-term disruptions," driving the costs up, aviation consultant Sean Mendis told Sputnik Africa.

"The only real option they have is to match pricing with costs, [which] is difficult, because a lot of tickets [have been already] purchased," he said.
