Cocoa Arrivals in Côte d’Ivoire Rise 20.8%, Media Say
As of August 16, the ports of Abidjan and San Pedro reportedly received around 1.99 million tonnes of cocoa beans since the start of the 2025/2026 season on October 1, 2025, compared with 1.65 million tonnes a year earlier.
This represents an increase of about 343,000 tonnes, according to exporters cited by the media.
The overall trend remains positive, sources said.
The world’s leading cocoa producer, Côte d’Ivoire, is seeing its 2025/2026 cocoa season confirm strong supply levels for export.
