Malian Armed Forces Strike Several Terrorist Group Positions, Including Over 200 Fighters: Statement
Supported by their partners, the Malian Armed Forces carried out operations on August 20 against gathering points of terrorist armed groups in the Mopti region, according to a statement.
West of Youwarou:
Several sites hosting terrorist leaders and significant military equipment were detected based on precise intelligence, then successfully targeted.
In the Dandougou area near Dioïla:
Another gathering of at least 200 terrorists, including leaders and equipped with military hardware and logistical resources, was located and struck.
Initial observations indicate the destruction of several pieces of equipment, it added.
