Deepening cooperation in trade, infrastructure, mining, energy, and logistics could catalyze regional integration and address socio‑economic challenges, Zimbabwean analyst Lazarus Sauti told Sputnik Africa.
"South Africa is the big brother when it comes to economic activities in Southern Africa; Zimbabwe is also doing its best," he stated. "These two countries can create a fertile ground in Southern Africa, a ground that can nurture or stimulate socio-economic development."
