AU Praises Zimbabwe's Heritage-Based Curriculum for Emphasis on Practical Skills: State Media
"The Heritage-Based Curriculum is very important because we inculcate critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills in our learners. The AU Commission on Education has recommended that the entire African continent should follow the example of Zimbabwe," Education Minister Torerayi Moyo announced in Parliament.
Technical and vocational training, he added, is a cornerstone of the curriculum, with skills introduced gradually from infant education through to the advanced level.
