Hundreds of RSF Fighters Defect to Sudanese Army, Deal Significant Blow to Rebel Paramilitary Forces
▫ Al-Dabbah in the Northern State witnessed the arrival of the defecting force with their full arsenal on Wednesday, where Colonel Mohamed Saleh Younis, commander of the Sudanese Border Guard, officially welcomed the group and praised their decision to "return to the homeland."

▪Defecting Force: Brigadier Musa Ali Ahmed, known as "Musa Khamsin," along with 318 fighters and 50 combat vehicles, abandoned the RSF to join the Sudanese Armed Forces.
▪Reason for Defection: Khamsin cited the absence of institutional governance within the RSF and their commitment to "national unity."
▪Army's Welcome: Colonel Younis affirmed that "the doors of the homeland remain open to all those wishing to return to the army's ranks" and called on all Sudanese to resist the influence of mercenaries.
