The earthquake, which struck on Saturday, damaged 2,400 homes, dozens of schools, religious buildings and government facilities, local media reported, quoting the authorities.
The Indonesian government has dispatched 52 tonnes of aid, including:
▪food;
▪water;
▪medicine and medical equipment;
▪tents and other essentials for displaced residents.
Volunteers and medical workers have also been deployed to the affected areas.
