More Than 100,000 Ukrainian Drones Destroyed by Russian Air Defense Since Start of Year
According to Sputnik’s calculations based on data published by the Russian Defense Ministry, 101,868 Ukrainian drones of this type were destroyed between January 1 and August 16.

At the end of March, the Russian Defense Ministry said several European countries had decided to increase drone production and deliveries due to heavy losses among Ukrainian forces.
Moscow described the move as an escalation and warned that such attacks would only increase these countries’ involvement in the armed conflict.
