Libyan Army Chief Vows Justice for Murdered Intelligence Chief
Terrorism is a transnational threat seeking to resurface, Libyan Armed Forces Chief of General Staff and the son of the Government of National Stability's leader Khaled Haftar told Sputnik.
The residents of Benghazi are familiar with the methods used by criminals, having experienced the violence that shook the region in 2013–2014. He stressed that only joint efforts across the Mediterranean can contain this threat.
The armed forces had defeated and eradicated terrorism in eastern and southern Libya through their determination and experience,Haftar said, vowing to pursue those responsible for the killing of Intelligence Chief Major General Fawzi Al-Mansouri and bring them to justice.
