'Stop Complaining, Start Acting': Tanzanian Youths Call Their Peers to Embrace Existing Opportunities
On the eve of the International Youth Day, Sputnik Africa spoke with Tanzanian young people about opportunities they have.
Sharif Bashir Dadi urged his peers to stop complaining and actively seize opportunities from the government and NGOs.
"Let us take action and know that it is our responsibility; we will not be given everything," he noted.
Evarest Mallya warned that excessive use of social media and AI distracts youth from productive, nation-building tasks, causing them to miss out on available programs.
Abetrida Kajigwa highlighted that society raises job-seekers instead of entrepreneurs. She urged the government to provide youth-friendly financial education—teaching stocks, bonds, and remote investing—to combat unemployment.
