'Life in Khartoum is Getting Back to Normal': Sudanese Cyclists Resume Rides After Three Years of Conflict

A group of about 45 cyclists gathered for their weekly ride through the capital, marking an emotional return to "what it used to be before," said Al-Sanousi Ahmed, executive director of the Sudan Cycling Federation.

"[We] go back to our normal lives," he emphasized.
