His remarks came as President Samia Suluhu Hassan unveiled the implementation framework for Tanzania's Vision 2050 and met with private sector leaders, with the government reaffirming its expectation that businesses will drive the country's long-term development.
ℹ Tanzania Development Vision 2050 is a long-term roadmap to transform Tanzania into a competitive, resilient, upper-middle-income nation. The framework aims to build a $1 trillion economy and elevate the country's average GDP per capita. It prioritizes nine core transformation sectors—including agriculture, manufacturing, and the blue economy—driven largely by private sector investment.
Ngalemwa elaborated more on the government's role in strengthening growth. Watch the video to hear what he had to say.
