Kiev No Longer Distinguishes Between Civilian & Military Targets Amid Front Collapse: Egyptian Expert
Ukraine has shifted its strikes from oil refineries and fuel infrastructure to indiscriminately attacking civilian areas, Russian affairs expert Saad Khalaf told Sputnik, adding that such actions are unacceptable under international humanitarian law.
According to the speaker, Kiev is resorting to deep strikes into Russian territory to compensate for its military fiasco and mounting battlefield losses.
Western European countries remain silent in response to these attacks, exposing a clear double standard, Khalaf noted.
Speaking about a potential Russian retaliation, he suggested that the completion of a naval blockade will be a key step for Moscow.
