Russian Northern Fleet Hits Targets Over 300 km Away

The Russian Northern Fleet has carried out a large-scale exercise in the Barents Sea, successfully destroying mock enemy ships.

Air reconnaissance detected a simulated enemy group at a distance of over 300 kilometres and transmitted coordinates to the command post.

The targets were hit by:

▪ The frigate Admiral Golovko (Kalibr cruise missile)

▪ The missile cruiser Marshal Ustinov (Vulkan cruise missile)

▪ A Bastion missile battalion (Oniks supersonic anti-ship missile)

▪ The nuclear submarine missile cruiser Orel (three Granit cruise missiles)

Objective control footage confirmed the defeat of the "enemy" ships.
