Over 30,000 people remain indoors during huge blaze at chemical warehouse in France

More than 100 firefighters and 50 emergency vehicles were deployed to combat a blaze at the Gandrange industrial zone in eastern France, prompting authorities in five local municipalities to order more than 30,000 people to remain indoors due to toxic chemicals at the site.

Residents have been urged to keep windows and doors closed and to seal gaps where possible until further notice.
