“We had huge support from when we were dealing with Zambia and Zimbabwe,” the minister says.

Recent research suggests that this combination of TB tests offers greater accuracy.
"Both of these tests have, even independently of each other, shown real promise in their ability to detect TB […] In some initial research we've done, it seemed that combining these two into a single test improves the accuracy of the test," Professor Malherbe says.
