DRC Ebola Outbreak is Fastest-Spreading Ever Seen: Media
The current outbreak is the second-largest on record, Carl Skau, acting head of the UN World Food Program, told media.
The case fatality rate stands at 44.1%, while contact tracing coverage has reached 78.7%, the Congolese Communications Ministry said in a statement.
"Community engagement teams and community health workers continue outreach efforts in affected provinces to strengthen public adherence to prevention measures."
