According to local media, the Ethiopian Defense University opened the Advanced Central Laboratory to drive:

🟠Capabilities: The laboratory features specialized units for cybersecurity, AI, automation, 3D printing, communications, and nursing, bridging academic research with national security and industrial needs.
🟠Sustainability: It is equipped with integrated solar power and water-heating systems, covering up to eight hours of daily electricity needs to ensure uninterrupted, eco-friendly operations.
🟠Impact: Designed as a national center of excellence, the facility will provide specialized consultancy, vocational training, and foster academia-industry collaboration to tackle modern security and technological challenges.
