Burkina Faso Inaugurates "Long-Awaited" Pô Kapro Dam President Ibrahim Traoré has inaugurated the Pô Kapro Dam, a project promised since the 1960s and completed in just eight months, with a nearly 700-meter-long embankment and a capacity of 1.1 million cubic meters.The filling of the dam is part of the Traoré administration's progressive drive toward achieving food self-sufficiency in the country."And there will be others in the region.
