Malian Army Saves Convoy Attacked by Terrorists: Statement
The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) and their partners conducted precision strikes against enemy positions in northeastern Mali, approximately 60 kilometers from the village of Anéfis, the FAMa said in a statement.
According to the statement, the military response was launched to relieve a convoy ambushed by a terrorist group in Tabrichat.
The operation successfully allowed the convoy to "continue on its route," the FAMa noted.
Additionally, the Malian Army reported that on Saturday, a terrorist logistical depot containing a significant volume of fuel and motorcycles was destroyed in the northern Kardjiba area, and several terrorists were neutralized.
