Mali Approves $77 Million Loan for 50 MW Solar Plant With Storage

The country's Council of Ministers has adopted the ratification texts for a major loan deal with the West African Development Bank to finance the construction of a solar photovoltaic plant in Tietiguila, Koulikoro region.

Key details:

🟠Capacity: 50 MWc with a 25 MW / 50 MWh battery storage system

🟠Impact: The infrastructure will "improve living conditions by better covering electricity demand and increasing the share of renewables in the energy mix," according to a government statement.
