Tanzania Must Learn From Russia’s Youth Empowerment Expertise: Minister of State
Russia possesses crucial expertise in youth development programs, while Tanzania is just beginning to implement similar initiatives, Joel Arthur Nanauka, Minister of State in the President's Office for Youth Development, told Sputnik Africa.
According to the minister, Tanzania can draw valuable lessons from Russia in the following areas:
🟠Youth economic empowerment programs;
🟠Establishing skills development training centers;
🟠Fundraising strategies for youth initiatives;
🟠Creating internship opportunities.
Furthermore, Tanzania aims to ensure its youth participate in international events to gain experience and showcase their talents, Nanauka noted.
Nanauka's remarks follow recent youth development engagements in Dar es Salaam, including meetings between Tanzanian officials and Russian delegations from the World Youth Festival Directorate and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, alongside a joint conference at the Russian Center for Science and Culture.
