“Our theory is one. The best way of stopping crime is to stop it well before it starts. Through what? Through education and awareness,” General Riah Phiyega says.
Later we are joined by MK Party Member of Parliament Carol Mafagane, who discusses government efforts to reduce regulatory red tape for small businesses. This comes amid South Africa's worsening employment crisis after the economy shed 80,000 formal sector jobs in the first quarter of 2026.
