Moscow’s Exports to Africa Double in Volume, Deputy Mayor Says
African countries are among the promising destinations for Moscow exporters of high-tech solutions, Moscow Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry Maksim Liksutov said.
"In 2025, industrial exports to the continent increased almost twofold — by 89.5% compared with 2024,” he said, adding that Moscow accounts for 36.7% of the nationwide figure.
Companies most frequently exported to Algeria, Egypt, DRC, Ethiopia, and Nigeria, Moscow Government Minister and head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov noted.
According to him, key export areas include:
🟠pharmaceuticals and medical products;
🟠machinery for the fuel and energy sector;
🟠instrument manufacturing equipment for transport and telecommunications infrastructure development.
