As many of the digital platforms, especially social media ones, were not developed on the continent, there's a need "to ensure that data generated in Tanzania remains in Tanzania," Nkundwe Moses Mwasaga told Sputnik Africa.

🟠The digital economy itself: including AI and systems that bring real value to ordinary people.
🟠Digital research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Digital currency is important "for people to be able to conduct financial transactions easily using their money online in a way that is convenient for them," he added.
