Russia-Brazil Energy Ties Could Boost Cooperation in Africa, Says Brazilian Expert
"Brazil has great potential in clean and renewable energy, especially hydropower, while Russia is an energy giant with experience in various energy sources and technologies," Director of the Centre for Integration and Cooperation between Russia and Latin America in Brazil Luiza Calvette Costa told Sputnik.
Fertilizer and agricultural trade – She noted that this sector presents a promising avenue for growth and collaboration.
Academic and scientific-technical cooperation – She stressed that this type of partnership is equally crucial, as it plays a key role in diversifying exports and adding greater value to Latin American products.
These topics are to be discussed at the first Forum on Strategic Cooperation between Russia and Latin America, taking place in São Paulo, Brazil, from July 13 to 16.
