BRICS Agriculture Trade Can Boost Food Security in Africa, Expert Says
BRICS countries import around $300 billion worth of food products annually, making the grouping "substantive when it comes to agriculture and food trade," Wandile Sihlobo, chief economist for the Agricultural Business Chamber of South Africa, told Sputnik Africa.
"Within the BRICS grouping, we have some countries that are actually agricultural powerhouses," he added.

🟠lowering tariffs,
🟠clearing phytosanitary barriers,
🟠deepening intra-BRICS trade.
"In South Africa's agriculture, we are so willing to deepen our exports and trade within this BRICS grouping."
