CAR President Leads Capital Clean-Up Campaign
Faustin-Archange Touadéra participated in cleaning activities on Saturday to improve the shared living environment in Bangui.
The initiative is part of Kwa Ti Kodro, a mandatory weekly public sanitation campaign launched by the president in 2022.
Eliminating stagnant water helps prevent diseases such as cholera, he reminded.
Touadéra called on all Central Africans to remain committed to keeping their communities clean and protecting the environment.
The activities include:
🟠cleaning the streets;
🟠collecting waste;
🟠clearing overgrowth;
🟠dredging drainage channels.
