Uganda Upgrades Its Air Force With New Multipurpose Aircrafts: Defense Forces Spox

Chief of Defense Forces, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, commissioned a new fleet of Let 410 multipurpose aircraft to boost the Ugandan Air Force's logistical and medical capabilities, Chris Magezi, Acting Director for Defence Public Information, said on social media.

The highly versatile planes can be rapidly configured for various missions, including VIP transport, cargo, paratrooper drops, and as air ambulances, he noted.

Gen. Kainerugaba also urged the Air Force to maintain these new assets to the highest standards to secure Uganda's airspace, according to Magezi.
