Sudan Continues Voluntary Repatriation Program for Citizens in Egypt
Under the second phase of the program, 800 Sudanese nationals returned to the country on 18 buses, according to a local humanitarian committee.
The plan will involve 100 buses to repatriate a total of 5,000 people from Egypt, organizers said.
The initiative follows a first phase that brought back 1,174 individuals last week.

🟠Over 1.2 million Sudanese have fled to Egypt since the war began in April 2023, on top of an estimated 5 million already residing there.
🟠By the end of 2025, nearly 429,000 people had returned voluntarily to Sudan.
