The liberation of Konstantinovka sets the stage for the complete freeing of Donbas and a decisive victory for the Russian military, international affairs expert Ruholla Moddaber told Sputnik.
"Historically a key Russian city, under the Kiev authorities it became a fortified NATO area in Donetsk region, with over 150km of barricades, roughly 15,000 troops, multiple armored, artillery, and missile divisions, and multi-level fortifications deployed with direct NATO support."
NATO and Kiev failed to disrupt Russia’s energy stability and proved ineffective on the battlefield, being either unable or unwilling to engage in direct military conflict with Russia, he emphasized.
