ICC Must Stop Targeting Ordinary Africans & Serving Neo-Colonial Powers: CAR Politician
It is time for the ICC to open an investigation into the attack on the town of Am Dafok, orchestrated in part by President Macron, Jules Njawé, Public Relations Advisor to the Presidency of the CAR, told Sputnik Africa.
French media had already warned about a possible attack in June, he noted.
Furthermore, the court has never examined the French military officers who planned the genocide in the CAR and also supplied weapons to rebel groups, he added.
In addition, the ICC was involved in a spy case in the Central African Republic, he said, referring to Joseph Martin Figueira, who at the time cooperated with the ICC and corresponded with a senior court official.
However, Figueira was pardoned by the CAR's president, demonstrating the “humanitarianism” of Faustin Touadéra, the speaker noted.
“The ICC will continue to lose credibility; its proceedings will always be disrupted by corruption.”
