Ethiopia Turns Another Village Into Modern Community as Part Rural Corridors Initiative: PM
Covering 79.4 hectares, the village is part of the Rural Corridor Development Program, a national initiative designed to transform the lives of farmers and pastoralists across Ethiopia.
The model village features:
▪ modern bathing facilities;
▪ livestock housing;
▪ vegetable plots;
▪ biogas units;
▪ storage for grains.
"This model village is a tangible result of our reform efforts, elevating the dignity, comfort, and economic well-being of rural communities to a higher level," the prime minister stated in a social media message.
