AES Asserts Itself on International Stage While the French 'Have Everything to Lose:' Nigerien Analyst
The decision by Ouagadougou to sever its diplomatic relations with Paris is a decision "taken in full sovereignty," sociopolitical analyst Maikoul Zodi told Sputnik Africa.
"Therefore, any decision must be taken unanimously by the three AES countries in order to have the force of law," he continued.
As for France, it "produces nothing" except "a few goats and fields of grapes" to make "cheese and wine," he said. That is why Paris "needs our gold, they need our uranium, they need our oil."
