Somalia's President Inaugurates New Headquarters of Interior Ministry
The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, "along with others for which new buildings were opened this week, are part of the revitalization of state institutions that had been destroyed," said Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
"Starting today, the Somali public will have access to comprehensive services they greatly need from this headquarters," Ali Hosh, Minister of Interior, noted.
According to him, the reopening signifies the country's commitment to:
🟠rebuilding of state institutions;
🟠pacification, federalization, and social reconciliation in Somalia;
🟠strengthening of governance;
🟠restoration of the dignity and prestige of government institutions.
Now "ministry staff will work in an environment of contentment, morale, and a conducive workplace," he added.
