Project Status & Funding
The railway project will be developed under a public-private partnership. The investor is currently raising about $5 million.

The central business district
Key suburbs, including Chitungwiza
Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport
The new city in Mt. Hampden
Approvals & Significance
The project has been approved by the Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency and granted National Project Status.
According to state media, it marks Zimbabwe's largest urban public transport investment in decades.
